I do enjoy a chance to bring out a new pair of shoes. Remember the divine red suede IC shoe boots I bought a while ago? They got their first outing this evening as I was having dinner with the girls and I'm officially smitten. So soft, so comfy, so sumptuous. They're not the tallest heels but for me, this is a good thing as I don't walk very well in skyscraper heels. They made me feel tall though, huzzah! A tiny person like me needs all the additional inches she can muster up.
Top & headband - Dorothy Perkins
Skirt - Tesco
Tights - M&S
Shoes - Irregular Choice of course!
Does anyone else feel a tad harlot-ish in red? I do love a bit of colour in my life but I feel that red seems to draw the eye more than any other shade. I tried to tone things down a bit with a simple dark top and tights but still got stared at. I'm hoping they were admiring my awesome shoes and not pointing and laughing at the crazy girl in red.
Right gang, that's me done. I'm away for my birthday/holiday tomorrow and shall return in a week, always supposing I don't get lost in the wilds of very north Northumberland. See you then!
Looking hot!!Yeah, there is something harlot-ish about red that is irisistable(sp??!!)I just recenlty started wearing red lipstick a lot-found a shade that is blue based and actually suits me-and I feel positively frisky when I wear it!!!
ReplyDeleteI definitely am a little intimidated by red - but it looks awesome on you! I love those shoes too.
ReplyDeleteYour legs look great here, I love red. I did once associate it with tarty older types but I think times have changed and it's no longer quite so much. I hope not anyway as I love wearing it!
