So, what can we deduce from this roundup? I didn't get dressed much in November and December? Nah, think I can chalk that up to a hectic schedule and lack of good weather/time to take photos. Tis always the way in winter.

I'm really pleased that I finally got round to making clothes. The red polka dot dress and Paddingon skirt are my very own handmade creations and I'm mega proud of both of them.

I feel like I was a bit less daring than in 2012 and not quite as enthused by clothes (possibly linked to weight, who knows?) There's not as much variety, less crazy vintage stuff and more reliance on dresses rather than separates. Default mode now seems to involve red or polka dots. This isn't necessarily a bad thing but I do perhaps need to explore the wardrobe a little bit more this year! Also must wear the cape more. Cape!

  3. You look great in all these photos, although you are looking at the floor in 90% of them. You've got great style and a fun quirky streak - how many people do you know that would wear a Paddington skirt? I'm so impressed with your sewing.

  5. 2013- a year of awesome prints. So pleased for your handmade items too, looking fabulous! My mission this year is to get back on the dress making horse. It's been 6 years since I really made anything properly, so planning to take it slowly and go back to basics, but blogland has been so inspiring for making me want to get back into it.

    Happy New Year Alex.

  6. Oh I do love these types of outfit round ups. I am tempted to do one but when I start sifting through photos, I just end up thinking how much I don't like them, and what was I thinking, etc?

  7. You're right, the cape IS fabulous! I love that very few outfits are without a hint of green! Both items you made are absolutely glorious, you should be very proud of them both. Now I just have to decide if I can be arsed looking through my year of posts to make a summary...turns out there's 185 outfits!
