I Like A Good Pattern & Giveaway Day 7

Tuesday, 7 December 2010

Oh girls, aren't you all lovely? Thank you for your comments on yesterday's post. I am feeling a bit better about life today. I went on a fun training course in the city centre yesterday so had a very nice wander round the continental market after it had finished. Didn't buy anything but it's fun to look at all the stalls and breathe in the festive smells anyway. And I took your advice and allowed myself an hour and a half break this evening to devour a new book. Best of all, the review form is finished! The actual meeting is on 20th but that's never too stressy; it's getting the form written that's the tricky part.

Look, I'm even feeling better enough to do a quick outfit post. Tisn't the most exciting in the world but the tunic is new and deserves having its photo taken.

Tunic - Barbara Hulanicki @ George
Jeans - Dorothy Perkins

Barbara was the genius behind Biba. Whilst I'd obviously prefer a piece of vintage Biba, I don't quite have that budget. This was a bargainous £14 - it might not be vintage but she knows how to pick a pattern!

Moving on...

On the seventh day of my giveaway, I will give to thee...

A jolly pretty and usefully sized swan tin which shall be packed full of goodies. Mystery star prize, secret goodies...in other words I haven't decided what they are yet. They'll be great though. Hopefully some of my famed Christmas baking will feature, although if someone outside the UK wins I may have to reconsider that as I don't want things going mouldy in the post. That would be decidedly unpleasant.
