Holiday Snaps

Tuesday, 28 September 2010

I don't quite know what it was but I looked horrible or blurry in the vast majority of the pics taken of me on holiday. Doom! Perhaps it's the new camera - it's wonderful for closeups and landscapes but I don't quite know how to take proper pictures of people with it yet. The self timer function has a snazzy multiple shot option but I'm struggling to get the focus right on that setting. Ah well, it will come, I'm sure.

Here are a few outfit shots which are tolerable:

Dress - Uttam @ Dorothy Perkins, a bargainous £10 in the sale
Cardi - New Look
Sandals - Primark
Necklace - cobbled together from an old keyring

Dress - New Look
Espadrilles - Office
Hat - H&M men's department

Vest - Dorothy Perkins
Skirt - I made it!
Bracelet - Laura Ashley, a present from the wonderful Char

Tshirt - Gap
Skirt - H&M

And just for comedy value, a pic of me hoodying it up:

Hoody - pinched from my dad.
Earrings - Accessorize

  2. Can I say how you are the only person in the world who looks beautiful in a hoodie? That maxi is stunning on you, too, in fact all the pictures are of you looking lovely. xxx

  7. Your holiday destination looks like somewhere I could waste many a day, beautiful!
I love that last pic of you in a hoodie you have huge doe eyes. When you see women in red hoods, normal people think little red riding hood; as another film freak can you guess what it means to me? (not that you look like her you understand):)

  8. Horrible and Blurry - c'est moi! It's down to the photographer - honest. We, posing in our holiday attire feeling somewhat transcendental, floating on happiness and then the husband/partner/other
points the camera and shoots and we are reduced to mere blurry, badly dressed overweight, middle-aged tourists.
