I don't think I quite thought through this giveaway malarkey. The pressure of daily outfit blogging has already got to me and it's only day 2! I'm not overly enamoured with this outfit but I've got too much else on at the moment to spend hours faffing and trying things on. It's clean and it doesn't look too horrific so that will have to do me. Plus the shoes are great and that's always a bonus.

I am commenting but don't put me in for this giveaway as I bite my nails (still, it's pathetic). I love the outfit - the shoes are hawt, and the skirt is amazing. The cardi matches really well too, and I reckon if you put a belt round the waist it would look really smart as well xx
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about? Your outfit is fabulous, woman!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is amazing- I'm really envious!
Loving the postcards and grey nail polish? Don't mind if I do!
xxx Maddie

ReplyDeleteAlex, that skirt is quite incredible <3
ReplyDeleteOf all of the outfits I've seen you wear, that's my favourite by a long way. Really and honestly, it's fab.
ReplyDeleteThat skirt really is beautiful, I love the colours and print, a very unique one indeed. The red shoes look wonderful too.
ReplyDeleteI always wonder who actually comes up with cosmetic names, it really puts me off if I see an eye shadow/nail varnish named poorly! I am way too fussy but still x
Alex your skirt it to die for! I love the print. I'm also laughing because your landing and carpet is the same as in my house. I will have to do an identical pose point so you can see!
ReplyDeleteI need your pom poms!! When are they in giveaway, do we build up to them. It is such a fab and generous 12 day thing
xx
I actually really like this outfit! I know you mentioned you weren't such a fan. It is something I would happily wear to work (I get a lot of leeway with what I wear to work since I am employed in the Pacific NW). The skirt is my favorite part!!!
ReplyDeleteThe cards are SOOOOO me!!! Alex, you are a gal after my heart.
Wow what a skirt! And you can't go wrong with red shoes in my opinion! I'm dressing basically in everything at the moment - it's too cold not to! x

ReplyDeleteThe print on that skirt is absolutely fantastic. You look magnificent in red, I am inspired to dig out my red Mary Janes for when I can venture outside in them without breaking my neck xx
ReplyDelete(PS. The Aussie is primarily a giant geek but he is also a rather talented artistic boy. As well as his photography, he also used to write web cartoons for a national newspaper. I might have to dig them out one day and embarrass him)
ReplyDeleteThose shoes are to die for Alex! I love the playful look red shoes always give to an outfit! And your right dove grey really would be a much better name!

Aww that skirt is fantastic - I love the print so much and it looks great with the shoes. You're braver than me wearing heels in this hideous weather, although to be honest I'm fairly rubbish walking in heels at the best of times (mind you I still have loads of them, they look pretty at least!)
ReplyDeleteI want your skirt too!
