Red Heels & Giveaway Day 2

Thursday, 2 December 2010

I don't think I quite thought through this giveaway malarkey. The pressure of daily outfit blogging has already got to me and it's only day 2! I'm not overly enamoured with this outfit but I've got too much else on at the moment to spend hours faffing and trying things on. It's clean and it doesn't look too horrific so that will have to do me. Plus the shoes are great and that's always a bonus.

Cardi - Matalan
Skirt - Pink Haired Princess's blog sale
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins sale
Pearls - BoBijou

And onto the fun stuff:

On the second day of my giveaway, I will give to thee...

Some extremely pretty Sanderson Squirrel and Dove notecards, based on an original wallpaper design from the 1890's, and some grey nail varnish. They call it Grey Matter (vile name!) but it looks dove grey to me.

  2. I am commenting but don't put me in for this giveaway as I bite my nails (still, it's pathetic). I love the outfit - the shoes are hawt, and the skirt is amazing. The cardi matches really well too, and I reckon if you put a belt round the waist it would look really smart as well xx

  15. That skirt really is beautiful, I love the colours and print, a very unique one indeed. The red shoes look wonderful too.
I always wonder who actually comes up with cosmetic names, it really puts me off if I see an eye shadow/nail varnish named poorly! I am way too fussy but still x

  16. Alex your skirt it to die for! I love the print. I'm also laughing because your landing and carpet is the same as in my house. I will have to do an identical pose point so you can see!

I need your pom poms!! When are they in giveaway, do we build up to them. It is such a fab and generous 12 day thing

  17. I actually really like this outfit! I know you mentioned you weren't such a fan. It is something I would happily wear to work (I get a lot of leeway with what I wear to work since I am employed in the Pacific NW). The skirt is my favorite part!!!

  34. Aww that skirt is fantastic - I love the print so much and it looks great with the shoes. You're braver than me wearing heels in this hideous weather, although to be honest I'm fairly rubbish walking in heels at the best of times (mind you I still have loads of them, they look pretty at least!)
