Cracking Christmas Giveaway: Day Two

Sunday, 2 December 2012

Onto Day Two and the prizes today are food based.

A Nakd Celebration box, courtesy of Natural Balance Foods

And some of my rather good (even if I do say so myself) Christmas baking.

Yum!  One naughty, one nice, but they'll both be delicious.

Not only are Nakd bars amazingly healthy snacks, they actually manage to taste good too.  Trust me, I've tried out all sorts of low-cal snack bars and healthy options and these are about the only thing I go back and buy again and again.  This box has 18 of their very nicest things in it.

I can't promise at this stage exactly what the other half of the prize will be because it entirely depends how the baking mood takes me! But it will be good, I promise you that.

To enter, follow the instructions below:

  2. er, I love a bit of Xmas pudding. Two reasons: 1.) The money that comes inside it (ye olde tradition passed on from my Gran) and 2.) BRANDY BUTTER.
But that aside, my Christmassy sweet treat would be all the homemade truffles that people make around this time of the year :)

  3. Ooh, we have those nakd bars onboard our flights in the snack bar, they are very yummy trust me and seeing as we are not SUPPOSED to eat them, as they are for customers only, I would love to win some! However, your baking is more of a draw! Yum! Xx

  4. My Mum's Christmas pudding is A-MA-ZING! I love it, she somehow always makes it so it's not dry but not sloppy, full of flavour (and booze) - it has to be with thick double cream though, heavenly! Mince pies are fab too though...

    ReplyDelete
  47. I love M&S Lattice mince pies! The pastry is buttery and munchy and there's just enough rich but not too sweet filling. I don't have the sweetest tooth so most are too sweet for me, but these are perfick.

    ReplyDelete
  48. It has to be tree chocolate - there's something about them that is just better than the non-hung-up-wrapped-in-shiny-foil type.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Oh I love nakd bars! I hate most christmassy cakes, christmas cake, mince pies, christmas pudding = blergh! I love gingerbread though and lebkuchen. And chocolate logs too!

    ReplyDelete
  50. I love mince pies and I adore Christmas pudding! But only if its got my mums special white sauce on it - it's basically a brandy sauce with no brandy and a shed load of sugar in! Amazing! I'm going to try out some Christmas pudding cupcakes this year

  51. I love mince pies, but only in moderation! They seem to be everywhere at the minute and there is a real danger of eating 20 a day!

    ReplyDelete
  52. I do NOT like Christmas pud! I love Turron which is a Spanish thing, and also the ubiquitous big tins of chocolates :)

    ReplyDelete
  53. I don't mind a little bit of Xmas pud, but I looooove mince pies with clotted cream! Yum!!

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oh yes, mince pies for me too. Oooh I see Lucy likes Turron - I love it too - especially the choccy ones. xx

    ReplyDelete
  55. Christmas cookies. I'm not picky, they just have to be home-made and soft.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Christmas pudding is one of the few things I love about the season, but my fave sweet treat for this time of year (unsurprisingly) is German- Lebkuchen. I love the ones filled with apricot. SO TASTY. Rather fond of pannetonne and of candy canes too...

    ReplyDelete
  57. I hate mince pies, Christmas pudding and Christmas cake - I'm such a pudding Scrooge! I have discovered today that I actually like brandy sauce though - it's like custard but with alcohol, why did nobody tell me?! - so am considering that my festive dessert of choice might be some kind of strudel, with some brandy sauce. I'm baking biscotti for Christmas gifts and am going to double the recipe so I can hoard some for my own usage :)
